PROJECT SCOLARITE :

Promoting access to education
It seeks to empower children in remote areas and conflict-affected regions. This flagship program has 2 components:

  • PAMOJA SCHOLARSHIPS, which grants scholarships to children from low-income families, orphans, displaced, and children with academic merits.
  • SCHOOL KITS FOR ALL ; this focus on equipping each child in school with the right educational material to stay in school. By education materials, we imply exercise books, pens, school bags, uniforms, and shoes.

OVER 5000 SCHOOL KITS HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED SINCE 2018
OVER 200 SCHOLARSHIPS GIVEN TO CHILDREN.

ACEDEP : Learning centres for internally displaced children

The Action for Education of Displaced Children (ACEDEP) project is a pilot project of the organization PAWA that aims to equip displaced children in the IDPS camp by setting up a learning spaces.

  • Education in emergencies is an area of study and practice that combines education, development and humanitarian assistance.
  • Children have the opportunity to acquire and improve their knowledge in reading, writing, mathematics, general culture and an education for peace and social cohesion.

OVER 400 INTERNALLY DISPLACED CHILDREN ATTEND CLASSES AT OUR LEARNING CENTRE
