Who We Are
Pamoja na Watoto Foundation( PAWA)
Funded in 2018, Pawa Foundation is a non-profit organisation that works to enhance access to high quality education in Democratic republic of the Congo ( North and South Kivu).
Over the next 15 years, we aims to promote foundational learning skills, provide educational materials and alternative learning opportunities for poor and underprivileged children and youth.

To transform rural and conflict-affected communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo by providing high-quality educational materials, training young people, and developing inclusive programs for out-of-school children and youth.

— Our Goals
- To reach 1,000,000 children and youth in rural and conflict-affected communities by 2034 through accessible education programs.
- To distribute 1,000,000 educational materials, including books and learning tools, to under-resourced schools and learners.
- To train 100,000 young people in essential skills, leadership, and vocational training, equipping them for self-reliance and economic growth.
- To establish 20 alternative learning centers for out-of-school children and youth, providing flexible and inclusive education opportunities.
- To foster community-based solutions that strengthen local capacity and ensure the sustainability of educational interventions
